Ok….I just finished the game……and I can say with confidence that the single player campaign was the best I have ever played in any game ever!! (1) Story: ok the whole story was what got me looking/ interested in the game. You play as the lone survivor of the 12 thousand American rangers sent to relieve Britain from the chimera. Your name is Nathan hale, you have been infected by the chimera virus. And you have a certin amount of time before you become a chimera. America has been invaded by the chimera and almost overrun. (2) Graphics: The graphics are great!! The amount of people on screen is just…….Amazing!!!!! You will always be fighting with allies and sometimes with dozens of them. And there are huge hordes of enemies. (3) sound: the sound is incredible!!!! Almost as good as halo. (4) multiplayer : I have not tried the multiplayer yet cause I have been playing COD4 and MW2 on my Xbox.

Ok so I finally got a PS3, ya I know you guys think I am a total Xbox 360 fanboy, but the truth is……….I am… kind of (grins)… but the point is that the Playstation 3 is a excellent gaming console. I saved up and got a PS3 Slim last week. I plan on purchasing Resistance Fall of Man and Resistance 2. The games look AWESOME!!!!!! As soon as I get the games, I will write a review. Now, for a review of the PS3 itself. The ps3 is a great multi- media device. Not only is it a gaming console, but it is one of the cheapest blue ray players on the market. It has free wifi built in so there is no need for a wireless adapter or Ethernet. Games range from E to M ratings with games such as Little Big Planet, Uncharted 2, and God of War 3. All in all the PS3 is a very good deal for the asking price of $300.

Empire Total War Review

This game is only for pc because i doubt any consoles would be able to fit all the details and graphics and the like onto one of there discs. There are several different modes that you can play which are as follows: Battle where you choose the map, period, cash, and weather and then you create your army and the enemy’s army (so basically the equivalent of a skirmish in the battle for middle earth except you choose the enemy’s units and yours). Scenario: where you play a preset scenario which have unique challenges so far there are only 3. Grand Campaign: i have not done this much because im not very good at the politic stuff and managing gold and stuff but it is very fun. Road to independence: You start out as the first british explorers where you proceed to found Jamestown and conquer the french and then you play as the americans revolting (which is very fun) and im not sure what happens after that because im not that far yet. Multiplayer: where you do online battles with other people. Replays: Where you watch the replays that you have saved. The videos below are ones that i made and if you watch them on youtube there in HD.

The Halo Reach beta is out and I figured i should stop playing it for long enough to make a post about it. First off to download it you have to have the Halo ODST campaign disc, if you have that then launch it and there is an option that says, “Play the beta” (or something like that) after that it downloads and you can play it!!!!! I will post a more detailed review later but to just some the beta up in a few words, epic, awesome graphics, great controls, amazing gameplay, no lag, no glitches, awesome matchmaking, rewards you for playing for the objective, and very few, if any, things to complain about. Hope you enjoyed my unorganized, one sentence review of the Halo Reach Beta.

So I figured it was about time we uploaded something to the site since it has been a week, give or take a couple months. So first off we both just got Gears of War 2 so there will be a review up for that as soon as we can write it. Besides that we only have two other things which might take a while, and they are a parody and a dual commentary. The commentary will be up soon along with my epic domination gameplay and the parody might take a bit seeing as it is our first try but we will keep plugging away.

April Fools Day

Gosh darn it don’t you just hate April fools day? Never knowing if something is real or not and if you believe it knowing that someone could just shout, “APRIL FOOLS!!!!”. I don’t know about you guys but April fools is my least favorite holiday(ish thing) simply because I hate all the uncertainty. So as I am hoping you all have guessed by now that last post was an April fools day joke, I am very sorry if anybody is annoyed but I had to do something for April Fools day. To make up for it though I will tell you an awesome story my basketball coach told us at the year end party. “You see that dog over there? (kind of paraphrasing here don’t remember his exact words)” “Well one time he comes over and he bites down on my dogs neck, and I wasn’t here but my cousin was, so he takes a big rock and starts bashing him over the head with it over and over and over. Finally after beating him over the head repeatedly he does what any sane man would do ( most definitely paraphrasing here)* he goes behind the dog and takes his balls and just yanks on them! And of course the dog immediately let go.” I promise that this is a true story and hopefully you will believe me because that is a freaking epic story, imagine being able to tell your grand kids that?**

*By the “most definitely paraphrasing here” remark I was talking about the “does what any sane man would do” and not what comes after it

I FINALLY GOT IT!!!!!! I WAS AT MY BLOCKBUSTER AND THEY HAD IT!!!!!!!!!!! SO I JUST PLAYED IT AND IT WAS AWESOME!!!!! I WILL GET A REVIEW UP TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!!

Weekend Update

This is just a little update about what we are trying to get done (hopefully over the weekend). First off I have finally started recording batman gameplay, so I will try and get some more over the weekend, the only problem is I am playing on hard so it might take me a bit longer than it normally would to get footage of all the stuff I want. Also, once I finish getting the footage I want, we will hopefully do a video review of batman and maybe some other games as well. The second thing I wanted to talk about is Sonic 06, we still do not have the game because the blockbuster near my house does not have it (they recently downsized) so we have to go to a different one which might take a tiny bit but we are trying. Lastly I just thought i would let you all know that on our youtube channel we are working on getting a mw2 video up with commentary, unfortunately Elite is currently sick with strep throat so we are not going to have that for a bit. But on the bright side, I have a different channel which I am hopefully going to upload a nice game onto with commentary. Also (last thing) Elite was over at my house a while ago and we were playing mw2 and we weren’t recording because i still hadn’t gotten the wires (I think they came the next day), and i got a game of 39-8 and of course got 5 kills with a single predator missile (and got Elite the Grim Reaper title).

Surround Sound, Dazzle, and Hating On Commando

So I am playing MW2 last night, enjoying my newly hooked up surround sound when i start playing on Highrise. At the beginning of the match I pull out my spas and run down in to the corridor, and immediately killed from 10 feet away by a noob using commando because for whatever reason my spas was not working at distances of 5 feet when hitting the person square in the chest. So throughout this entire match i am constantly patrolling our spawn repeatedly killing and being killed by a duo of commando sniper and his buddy akimbo rangers (i don’t have anything against that guy it is just that he was annoying because my spas would not kill him even though i hit him in the chest 5 ft away). So i end the match 12-12 rather annoyed, when i see that the next map is Sub Base which is one of my favorite maps (right up there with Afghan). The match starts off and I quickly pick off three people as the match goes on I continue to do really well until it ends and I have gotten 16-3 with 3 care packages 3 predator missiles,a sentry gun and a double kill with one burst from my FAMAS. Now i would post this on the site, but guess what? I DON’T HAVE THE FOOTAGE! I wasn’t recording at the time because I didn’t (and still don’t) have the cables required to hook up both the dazzle and surround sound. That is now the 4th game that i have done awesome on that i have not been recording. So to finish this up I will apologize for the Sonic 06, i am currently at a hotel for a basketball tournament so I won’t be back to where I can play Xbox for a while, but this weekend I will record some Batman gameplay and hopefully get Sonic 06 and get a review for that.
